Teens are unlocked after you are level 16 and upon completion of the related quest. Teenager Sims may attend Sim Town High, which can be unlocked by completing the Higher Education quest.
Teenage Sims are very similar to adult Sims, but also have different social interactions and relationships. However they cannot participate in preteen hobbies.
Coming of Age (Teenagers)
Coming of Age (Teenagers) is a quest available from level 16. Upon completion of this quest, you unlock the ability to age up your preteen Sims into teenagers.
