The Preparing For Preteens quest comes between the quests It's All Going Swimmingly and An Alien Concept: Weather Machines for new players of Sims Freeplay. Completing the quest will give you the ability to age your toddlers to preteens and adopt preteens.

1. Build Simtown Elementary
2. Purchase a Study Desk (Starting at 100) 3. Purchase a Preteen Bookshelf (Starting at 4,000)
4. Read Harriet Putter (4 hours)
5. Read more (24 hours)
6. Buy a Preteen Bed (Starting at 1500)
7. Buy a Trampoline (Starting at 300)
8. Celebrate the Trampoline (24 hours)
9. Bake Gingerbread Sims (6 hours)
10. Bake Cookies (1 minute)
11. Ask the Thinking Man for Advice (1 day)
12. Be Rude to the Thinking Man (1 day)
13. Play Sims on a PC (1 hour)
And 14. Bake a birthday cake (1 day) 5 LP
